The Latvian National Symphony Orchestra (LNSO, Latvijas Nacionālais simfoniskais orķestris) is Latvia's main symphony orchestra. It was founded in 1926 as the Latvian Radio Centre Orchestra by the conductor, Arvīds Pārups. Its current Chief Conductor and Artistic Director is Karel Mark Chichon. In addition to regular symphonic concerts, the orchestra also broadcasts and records. The orchestra's primary performance venue is The Great Guild Concert Hall in Riga.[1]
